Alden Hellmuth
Alden Hellmuth is a saxophonist, improviser, and composer based in New York City. Originally from Hartford, CT she attended the Hartt School, where she studied with the great Abraham Burton. She finds inspiration in exploration and aims to blur the boundaries of written and improvised material, making the two almost indistinguishable in her compositional works. She premiered her newest project “Good Intentions” earlier this year, which she plans to record later this year.
