Jessica Ackerley
Jessica Ackerley is a Canadian guitarist, improviser and composer based in Hawai'i, after a decade of living in New York City. They have worked alongside notable musicians such as Tyshawn Sorey, Daniel Carter, and William Parker, to name a few. Notable performance venues include The Stone and The Met Breuer and tours throughout North America. Since 2017, Ackerley has released eleven albums to much critical acclaim. They has been commissioned by Adult Swim to contribute to their compilation entitled New Jazz Century.
