Residing in New York City, Performer-composer Caleb A. Smith is a multi-faceted artist interested in varying levels of absurdity, randomness, stillness, and dramatic textural changes. Caleb is a trombonist, composer, and self-trained pianist. Caleb received formal study and graduated from both Oberlin Conservatory of Music as well as the New England Conservatory. He’s grateful to have studied with Gary Bartz, Jason Moran, and Robin Eubanks.
