Claire Dickson is a vocalist, composer, and producer currently based in Brooklyn. She expresses with words and sounds, which she improvises and assembles into stories. Much of her work is self contained: using field recordings, synthesizers, and samples she builds instruments and sound worlds that investigate dream states and sensation. Her songs and compositions span this multi-instrumental realm, as well as explorations in solo voice and electronics, text scores, and live self-accompaniment.
